THE CHALLENGE

CNN International Presenter, Richard Quest was in Nigeria between Monday 24th April and Friday 28th April, 2017 to shoot two of his programmes on CNN – ‘Quest Means Business’ and ‘Business Travelers’. The brief was to come up with PR activities to project him and further position CNN as a leading International news channel in the country.

Influencing the online community

We organized different activities for the week. The activities were a media roundtable for business editors and bloggers, interviews on Nigeria Info FM and Wazobia TV. We shared content with social media influencers. We provided photography service for the dinner event and cocktail event. On the final day we organized an interview on Smooth FM and the closing Gong ceremony was held at NSE.

The ROI

During Richard’s visit the hashtag #RichardQuestInNigeria was used  and it gathered impressions of 8,074,146. A total of 1,500 tweets and 368 Instagram posts were shared during  this period. The hashtag reached about 4,135,486 people with over 941 contributors.

A total of 22 print mentions and  141 online coverage were captured.
