CNN sought to enhance its presence in Nigeria and position itself as a leading international news channel, leveraging the visit of CNN International Presenter, Richard Quest. Richard Quest was in Nigeria between Monday, April 24th, and Friday, April 28th, 2017 to shoot two of his programmes on CNN – ‘Quest Means Business’ and ‘Business Travelers’.
Recognizing the importance of media engagement and social media influence, we curated a series of activities to maximize Richard Quest’s visit and elevate CNN’s brand perception in Nigeria.
Quadrant MSL organized a range of activities throughout the week, including a media roundtable, interviews on popular Nigerian media platforms, content sharing with social media influencers, and photography services for key events.
The week-long activities included a media roundtable with business editors and bloggers, interviews on Nigeria Info FM and Wazobia TV, social media content sharing with influencers, and a closing Gong ceremony at the NSE. These activities were designed to engage key stakeholders and amplify CNN’s presence in Nigeria.
With all these activities in place, the following metrics were achieved:

– The hashtag reached approximately 4,135,486 people, with over 941 contributors.
